Small Groups
“Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.”
- Ephesians 4:15-16
What is the Purpose of Small Groups?
At Trinity Church, we encourage our members to be involved in a small group. A small group is just what it sounds like—a smaller group (12-20 people) of Trinity Church members committed to meeting together regularly outside of the main weekly gatherings of the church. The purpose of a small group is to provide a hospitable context in which church members increasingly love and reflect Christ by seeking to apply God’s Word together, care for one another and spread the gospel.
Our groups typically meet at least twice a month on various nights of the week. All of our groups focus on applying the Scripture passage from the sermon that week even further. They are primarily organized around location rather than personal demographics (age, stage of life, etc.).
